As a former Acting School Principal, Deputy Principal, and SENCo, she has a deep understanding of the struggles children face when they don’t fit the “norm” in school settings. Mary is also a Master Neuro-Linguistics Programming (NLP) practitioner, which allows her to address not just academic difficulties but also the emotional issues that often accompany them.Â

BA (English & Educational Psychology), Dip Tchg, NLP Master Practitioner
Mary holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Special Education, specialising in literacy and learning difficulties. Â
Guidance & Support for ParentsÂ
Mary understands that parenting a challenging child can be draining. She offers strategies to help parents achieve ease and confidence in their relationships with their children. Whether dealing with traumatic situations or long-standing behavioural patterns, Mary works with parents to create a vision for a more harmonious family life.Â
What Does Mary Offer?Â
Mary offers a comprehensive range of services, including educational assessments, one-on-one tutoring, and therapeutic interventions like cognitive-behavioural therapy and NLP. She specialises in addressing specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, attention and focus issues, and emotional challenges like anxiety and low self-esteem. Mary conducts a practical assessment to pinpoint the root causes of a child’s difficulties, whether they are learning-related, behavioural, or emotional. She then creates tailored solutions, including research-based remedial programs designed to align with the child’s preferred learning style—be it visual, auditory, or kinetic.Â
Mary also helps children overcome negative self-beliefs and behavioural patterns through simple yet effective transformation techniques. These techniques are designed to seem like a natural conversation to the child but work to unblock false perceptions and bring about lasting change. The impact of this work is often noticeable almost immediately.Â
Mary works with a variety of issues that affect children’s learning and behaviour. These include:Â
- Specific Learning Difficulties: Such as dyslexia and other reading challenges.Â
- Attention and Focus Problems: Including ADHD and related issues.Â
- Anxiety and Emotional Challenges: Managing stress, anxiety, and building resilience.Â
- Social and Behavioural Difficulties: Helping children navigate social interactions and improve behaviour.Â
- School Readiness and Academic Support: Addressing early learning needs and boosting academic performance.Â
