About Us

At Resonance Step + Stride Podiatry we deliver a unique and professional approach to personalised patient care and offer comprehensive assessment and treatment in all aspects of podiatry.
Owned and operated since 1998 by Caron, she has been helping people of all ages who have problems with their feet, from the elderly, to sports people, and those who just want some TLC for the feet. She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine (Otago) in 2016, where her interest in Sports Podiatry was intensified. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Philosophy and will be looking at children’s perceptions of injuries. Over the years Caron has developed a special interest in children’s health and foot problems, sports injuries and biomechanical issues.

Caron is excited to be back doing what she loves – focusing on treating children’s foot problems, athletes of all ages, foot deformities, injuries, and all aspects of lower limb biomechanical issues. Having access to state of the art technology to provide gold standard, evidence based podiatric medicine for all her patients, Caron values a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and is regularly in contact with physios, GP’s and medical specialists.

Specialising in children’s podiatry

Podopaediatrics is an area of podiatry focused on the diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders in children.

Caron understands the principles of child development, relevant milestones, normal and abnormal development, and commonly occurring foot problems in the child.

Some of the more common areas of concern for parents include their children’s flat feet, in-toeing, heel pain, toe walking, ingrown toenails, plantar warts and skin rashes, and uneven or rapid shoe wear. It is important to have your child’s feet evaluated by an experienced children’s podiatrist every year from around the age of four. As a registered ACC provider, orthotics, ankle and knee braces, and moonboots are free with a valid ACC claim.

Our physical environment

Situated in Remuera, along the ‘medical mile’, close to Newmarket, you couldn’t ask for a more convenient location. On a major bus route, and train station nearby, accessibility couldn’t be better.We also have onsite parking.
