About Us

Greg and Kirsty Dodunski are a “husband and wife” team. They both hold a Bachelor of Health Sciences and are qualified occupational therapists. Meeting whilst training at AUT, Greg and Kirsty have over 32 years of combined experience. Total Rehab was founded in 2007 after they identified a need to provide assessment and treatment for people within the community for whom daily activities were becoming increasingly harder.

Total Rehab Plus offers many facets of Occupational Therapy and has been operational for the past 11 years with the store part being operating for the past 4 years. Both Greg and Kirsty have experience working in the area of Paediatrics in school-based settings and in homes and are passionate about seeing children reach their goals.

How you help children

Our services often begins with an introductory meeting; this can be held either at our premises, your home, or at school/ Kindergarten/ day-care. Information is gathered to ascertain current levels of functioning and to identify goals. We then work on developing a customised plan. We provide assessment, techniques and strategies, a range of programmes and modification of environmental factors, to facilitate children with everyday tasks. We aim to keep session’s up-beat, fun and interactive.

Physical environment

Our facilities are located at 179 Thames St Morrinsville. Our store is open from 9am -4pm Monday – Friday. Assessments can occur outside of those times by arrangement. We have a treatment room on site for meetings and some treatment sessions. We can come to you if this works better for your child and family.

Atmosphere

We aim to offer a friendly atmosphere and work conscientiously to build rapport with children and their families. Meeting them where they are at, and drawing on their strengths and interests so that all interactions are positive. We are big on celebrating all successes!
