Testimonials

I attended the ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ course run by KidsLink and had a wonderful day. There was a fantastic variety of speakers from a young lady still at school sharing her journey in relation to learning challenges and what we can do as teachers to support students like she; to educational specialists.

I learnt about relational aggression and the roles girls play in their relationships. I heard about community programmes that support self-esteem and positive body image with our teens and listened to the interesting facts about the number of women in STEM occupations. I was inspired by the speaker’s story of how she is engaging young women in career pathways that are economically sustainable and historically male-dominated.

I made plenty of connections and will certainly use both the knowledge shared and contacts made to reinforce and add to the depth of the work we do with young people at Murrays Bay Intermediate.

To add to this, the catering, organisation, and information provided prior to our attendance were superb.

Thank you Kidslink for this additional service you provide to our community to ensure that we as teachers are well equipped and up to date to best serve the students in our care.

I just wanted to say thank you for your seminar on “Anxiety”. It made me realise my son is suffering from this and that maybe I need to look at getting some support to deal with it.

Your presenters were lovely and relatable.
