Who Mighty Kids Rehab work with

The rehabilitation services provided at Mighty Kids Rehab focus on children and young people with delays and difficulties walking, Cerebral Palsy, concussion, brain and spinal cord injuries, limb differences and amputations, and other neurological conditions.

Their services include both assessment and treatment, using a multi-disciplinary approach. In all their work with children, young people and their families, their goal is to improve each child’s mobility, motor skills and efficiency in walking and have a real impact on their quality of life.

How to get started with Mighty Kids Rehab

When working with Mighty Kids Rehab, there is a four-step process to get you started.

A referral is completed via their website. This referral needs to be submitted by your child’s GP, medical specialist, case manager or therapist.

Next, you will receive an introductory phone call from one of the team members at Might Kids Rehab. You will have the opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and establish if Might Kids Rehab is the right service for you. All services and fees will be discussed in this phone call.

Following this phone call, you will be asked to complete a form that provides the team with more detailed information about your child’s condition and their individual needs and goals.

Lastly, the assessments are booked. Typically, these start with 2x 45-minute sessions, held on different days, followed by appointments with an advanced clinician and a rehabilitation paediatrician.
